Tower of Power

Operating a small business in the 21st century has become more complicated than ever before. For several decades, business owners have contended with increases in government regulations, confusing tax laws, and economic uncertainty. Locating and retaining skilled workers has become more expensive as well, making it harder to stay profitable in the age of online retailers and multinational discount stores. Thanks to that, business owners are often tempted to outsource their needs to foreign workers and cut-rate design sites. The problem, however, is that they often get what they pay for: frustrating communication problems, sub-par results, and a huge waste of time.

That's where I come in. I'm a diversely educated, award-winning American artist, who first began designing websites and marketing materials for small businesses and non-profits in 1997. My specialty is creating clean, crisp imagery and messages for my clients that speak to their target markets. I also take pride in hand-coding all of my websites using a mobile friendly combination of CSS3, HTML5, Javascript, and PHP; WordPress and Joomla! templates included. And, I continue to keep my prices at close to half of what a typical design house would charge, simply by working from home.

An overview of the design options I currently offer can be found below. If you're interested in a project type that isn't listed, please feel free to contact me about it, as I can likely take care of it for you.

Rates

Projects requiring at least fourteen (14) hours of work are charged by the day. That way, I can put in overtime hours to get you the results you deserve, without it affecting your budget. Discounts are also available for both non-profits (15%) and businesses located within Modoc County, California (5%).

  • Commercial: $42.96 per hour, $300.72 per day
  • Commercial, Modoc Co.: $40.81 per hour, $285.67 per day
  • Non-Profit: $36.52 per hour, $255.64 per day
  • Non-Profit, Modoc Co.: $34.37 per hour, $240.59 per day

Please note that these rates will be adjusted for both the complexity of the project and the speed at which it must be completed. Complex projects with tighter scheduling requirements have the highest costs, while simple projects with more flexible completion times have the lowest costs. Additional charges for licensing, materials, or travel may also apply.

For more detailed information about rates, scheduling, and payments, please see the BFA Project Pricing Breakdown.
